Michael Charles Tenner Sr.

Michael Charles Tenner, Sr., of New Orleans, LA, gained his heavenly wings on February 4, 2023, at the age of 44. Michael was born on January 2, 1979, to Miss. Gloria Mackey and the late Mr. Charlie Tenner, Sr. He was educated in the Orleans Parish School System. Michael was a very hardworking entrepreneur and CEO. His personality would fill a sad room with laughter and his love and kindness for helping people was unmatched. He enjoyed hobbies such as yearly cruises, family gatherings, traditions with his children and granddaughters, and hosting eventful activities with his right-hand man, his big brother Charlie. Michael was truly a family man who lived a wonderfully and adventurous life. Michael leaves his life to be cherished by his beloved mother: Miss. Gloria Mackey; children: Reniecia, MyKeisha, Ciyonté, & Michael Tenner, Jr.; granddaughters: Ayla Alvarez and Layla Guess; siblings: Lisa McGee, Charlie (Valerie) McGee, Charlie (Passion) Tenner, Jr., Aisha (Tarvis) Nesbit, Sr., and Gloria L. Mackey; and his beloved dog, Queen. Michael was also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend Michael's "Big Show" Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, February 25, 2023, for 10:00 A.M. at Pentecost Baptist Church, 1510 Harrison Ave., New Orleans, LA 70122. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Pastor Lionel Davis, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. To the Prince Hall Family you are invited to the home going service of Bro.
