Michael Anthony "Mikey" Vizzone

Michael Anthony Vizzone, 48, of Lavallette, New Jersey, passed away on August 6, 2024, following a valiant battle with cancer. Born on August 1, 1976, in Lavallette, New Jersey, he was a treasured member of his community throughout his life.

A graduate of Point Beach High School, Michael furthered his education at Monmouth University. He was a gifted screenwriter, a dedicated teacher, and a writer whose work profoundly impacted those around him.

Michael was a man of many passions, including sports and music. He was an enthusiastic fan of basketball and football, and he found joy in playing Madden and listening to his favorite tunes. Known for his distinctive routine, Michael would start his day with a bowl of Fruity Pebbles while watching episodes of "The King of Queens" and "Everybody Loves Raymond." His creative spirit shone brightly as the originator of "The Show," a collaborative endeavor with his friend Billy, known to many as TJ, and later with his nephew Jack.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Linda Vizzone; his grandmother, lovingly referred to as Wheezy; and his dear friend Billy "TJ." Michael's presence will be profoundly missed, yet his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

A memorial service to celebrate Michael's life will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 751 Main Ave., Bay Head, NJ 08742. The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals in Lavallette is providing care and guidance to the Vizzone family during this sorrowful time.

Michael Anthony Vizzone's enduring influence and the cherished memories he created will be honored and remembered always. May he rest in peace.
