On Wednesday, August 14, 2013, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer, Michael J. Weinzierl, age 55, of Ohio Township, passed away peacefully, with his wife of 24 years, Susan, by his side. He was the loving and devoted father of Joseph M., Andrea S. and Melinda K. Weinzierl; and the son of the late Joseph and Gladys (Pigoni) Weinzierl; brother of Joseph "Buster" (Sally) Weinzierl; uncle of Mary (David) Roeser and Sean, Cierra and Daniel Wagner; son-in-law of Katherine Daly; brother-in-law of Mark (Geri) Wagner. Mike graduated from North Allegheny High School in 1976. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Clarion University in 1980 where he was a loyal brother and lifelong friend in the Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity, National Chapter. As the founder of Professional Graphic Communications in 1983, celebrating the 30 year anniversary this past May. Mike devoted much of his life to building strong relationships with his clients, vendors, employees and printing industry colleagues. His passion for education and entrepreneurial spirit drove him to become a Certified Forms Consultant and member of the Midwest Distributors Association and American Marketing Association. He owned and operated several other businesses, including Salon Nuvo, Three Rivers Documents and Weaverling Printing, which eventually merged into PGC. He was also recognized for his commitment to the community through his volunteer work and support of countless area organizations and charities, including the Boy Scouts of America - Troop 321, The Salvation Army, The Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society, Ross/West View EMS and American Veterans. Among his most notable achievements was being named Vendor of the Year in 1994 for King's Jewelry, the 2006 Business of the Year in Beaver County, as well as a Board Member of the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce. Mike was also recognized with the PEAK Grand Award, in 2006, by Print Solutions Magazine. Most recently, he was honored with the Cranberry Rotary Club's 2012 Bill Powis Community Service Award. Mike was a long-time parishioner and Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary's Church in Sewickley. He participated in the Pittsburgh Catholic Men Fellowship. He was best known for the love of his family, his enduring faith and his passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers, as a season ticket holder. He also enjoyed watching movies, Pittsburgh Pirates and horse-racing. He took great pleasure in golfing, fishing, reading, especially the daily newspaper and direct mail, but mostly sharing a cold beer with a friend. Friends will be received at the LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 460 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue on Saturday and Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Assumption, Bellevue on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Mt. Troy Road, Ross Township and a celebration of Mike's life will be held at the Mayernik Center from 12 noon - 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages friends to create an American Cancer Society Mosaic of Hope in memory of Michael J.
