Smitty was one of those guy's that never had a bad day. He never needed anything but a kind word and a smile to make his day. It was hard to get used to a friend that never needed help.No braggadocio's in the man. Pretty pleasant.

Mike was an incredible person that I loved spending hours talking to about a variety of topics. He will be truly missed. The world is a lesser place without him in it.

Mike had the most outgoing personality and a smile wider than Texas, loved life, loved Alabama Football, and could always hear him laughing loud enough that I could hear him two houses down the street where I live!! Will miss u Mike❤. Pam Drexler

My heart breaks for you Kim, Fay, Rudy and Susan. Smitty was a very special person. My prayer for you is that our sweet Father will wrap his loving arms around each and everyone of you and give you His comfort and peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding. Love to all. Kim, you know we are only down the street, never hesitate to call if you need ANYTHING.
