Gene was a great man. He served as treasurer of First Baptist Church Of Montverde, Florida. with compassion and dignity. Heaven has just now become a little dearer and a little closer. I pray that God's grace will be with you, Eve, and comfort you in the coming days.
Blessings,

Dear Eva and Karen,
The connection between me and Gene was forged by our shared enemy: cancer. You know we never met. We were e-mail pen pals during a hard time in his long life. But I am saddened by his passing and can do no more than hope he has found peace. Know that his friend in the Shenandoah Valley will not forget him.
