Frances Nadine Perry Dunlap, 80, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on March 3rd in Lubbock, Texas.

Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 PM March 9th at Resthaven Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Powell officiating.

Nadine was born in Morton, Texas to Fred and Cordie Bell Perry on February 1st 1937. She attended school at Frenship High School and went on to obtain her Cosmetology degree from Lubbock School of Cosmetology.

She owned The Mirror, a successful hair salon for 32 years before reinventing herself and embarking on another 22 year career with First Data Corporation where Nadine won copious awards as a top-performer.

Nadine was an avid reader and focused on her grandchildren's education. She also enjoyed traveling the world with them.

She was also very committed to her community and relished volunteering. She was named woman of the year in Tahoka. Nadine was also deep-rooted in Lynn County Harvest Festival and had a strong devotion for volunteering in the Lubbock Lions Club & Lubbock Rotary Club and Financial Women in Texas.

Nadine is preceded in death by Fred and Cordie Bell Perry, Neal Perry, Larry Perry and Anita Perry .

Nadine is survived by siblings Nina Dailey and Nece Aldridge. Children Sheree Hayashi and husband Tim from Mansfield, Texas; Perry J. Ray and her husband Kyle Keller from Austin, Texas and Luke Dunlap and wife Karla from McKinney, Texas; grandchildren: Tiffany Girardot of McKinney, Texas; Courtney Foster of Fort Worth , Texas and Jake Dunlap & Gracie Dunlap of McKinney ,Texas; great-grandchild, Sophia Girardot of McKinney, Texas.

Memorials may be given to American Heart Association.

The family of Nadine wishes to extend our sincere thanks to her close friends and honorary pallbearers: Karen Taylor, Sharon Smith, Paulette Hinkle, Barbara Allsup, Carolyn Morrow and LaVerne Arnold.

We would also like to thank Covenant Hospital, Lubbock Hospice and Promiseland Care of Lubbock. She touched so many people in an inspiring way and our lives will never be the same without you. You were a loving mother, grandmother and a friend to all!

Nadine was kind and generous. I remember her leaving our little girls gifts on our porch for holidays like Easter and Christmas. She was a good friend of our family.

So sorry to here about Nadine. I Worked with her many years ago at Caprock Salon. What a great woman and friend. One of my favorite memories of my life.
