Nadine E. Massare, 57, of Charleroi (Fallowfield Township), died Friday, May 20, 2005 in Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born June 14, 1947 in California, Pa., she was the daughter of the late James and Irene Tentler Encapera. She had worked for the W.I.C. program for 18 years, retiring in 2000. Mrs. Massare was a 1966 graduate of California High School and enjoyed taking trips with her family to Atlantic City and going to craft shows. She is survived by her husband, Edward. F. Massare, whom she married July 20, 1990; a sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Cy Rechichar of New Salem; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Paula Encapera of Daisytown; four nieces, Heather Encapera and Erin Molish and husband Craig, all of Daisytown; Jamie Shimko and husband Shawn and Tracey Dochinez and husband Joe, all of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two nephews, Brady LeJohn and wife Debbie of California, and James Encapera and wife Tracey of Sebring, Fla.; three great-nieces and nephews, Madison LeJohn, Briar Shimko and Ashley Dochinez; and her father-in-law, Edo C. Massare of Monongahela. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Rose M. Massare. Friends will be received in the MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela (724-258-6767) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Services will be held Monday, May 23 in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. John R. Rankin. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Mrs. Massare's name to: American Cancer Society, PA Division Inc., Southwest Region, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, Pa. 15205-4620.
