Andrew J. Teas, 88, of Little Rock died on May 12, 2013. He was born on May 9, 1925 to John F. and Mary E. Teas in Mayflower, AR. Andy worked in the aircraft manufacturing industry throughout southern California. He retired in 1987 from Lockheed Martin in northern California, after which he returned to central Arkansas. Andy belonged to Immanuel Baptist Church and was a member of the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class. His interests included his family, cooking, country and western dancing, antiquing and decorating. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Fred Izzarelli; three brothers, Homer, Charles, and Elmo Teas; and a sister, Wanda Williams. He is survived by his wife, Betty; three children, Carol Dorchak (Terry) of CA; Bill Izzarelli (Belinda) of NV; Michelle Teas (Dana) of CA; a sister, Jewel Teas of Wyoming; a brother, Bert Teas of CA; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Andy was especially loved and will be greatly missed. A celebration of Andy's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at Immanuel Baptist Church Chapel, 501 N. Shackelford Road, Little Rock, AR 72211, (501) 376-3071. Reception to follow at the church; memorials may be made to the Immanuel Baptist Bereavement Fund.
