Nancy A. Houser, 69, of Hazleton passed away Friday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton.
Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late John and Edith (Baronio) DeAngelo and was a member of Queen of Heaven Parish at Our Lady of Grace Church, Hazleton.
She was a 1969 graduate of Hazleton High School and was last employed by Weis Markets, West Hazleton.
She enjoyed her morning ritual of reading her paper and drinking her coffee and also enjoyed traveling to Florida.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband of 35 years, Jody Houser, in 2019.
Surviving are her sons, Jeffrey Houser and his wife, Erica, Drums; and Cory Houser and his wife, Felicia, Hazleton; daughter, Lauren Houser, Hazleton; grandchildren, Gianna, Anna Rose, Anthony and Alexandra; sister, Cathy Gasper and her husband, Joseph, Hazleton; brothers, John DeAngelo, Allentown; and Marc DeAngelo and his wife, Irene, Conyngham; and several nieces and nephews.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Queen of Heaven Parish at Our Lady of Grace Church, Hazleton.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton. COVID-19 restrictions will be in place.
