Nathan Briggs Obituary
Nathan worked for Cushing Amusements for the past six years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed playing video games. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Carl Briggs and Anne-Marie Boucher, his mother Alice Briggs and Emery Ring, his daughter Kadence Osborne, a brother Wayne Briggs and Sara Burgess, a sister Crystal Briggs, a step-sister Jeanne Boucher, a step-niece Marisa Vieira, an aunt Tanya, an uncle Harlan, a grandfather James Carr, Sr, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by grandparents, Priscilla and Lorris Briggs and Charity Carr, cousin Harlan Wheeler, Jr., and best friend Billy Nickerson.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road Lincoln, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to help with expenses may be sent to Clay Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to www.clayfuneralhome.com.

I was so very sorry to read about Nathan. The only year I taught other than in Lincoln, I had Nate in the 6th grade at Lee. Was SO proud of his efforts on our veterans project. He felt so good carrying a sign and handing out awards at our evening event. May God bless all of you who mourn his passing. Am happy he got to be a parent, but sorry he did not have the chance to watch his child grow up. Prayers and sympathy.

To the Family of Nate I am so sorry.....
Nate: I remember the day you was born and see you grow up to a young man. Life may not been easy but you made it. It is so sad that you had to leave us so early but now you will be the Angel watching over us all. May you RIP young man....

Carl, Alice, Wayne & Crystal - I am SO sorry about this. I was shocked when I found out. It instantly made me remember the young, excited kid that I used to work with. Wayne and Crystal, you both will always hold a special place in my heart.
