Nan, Coleta, Joey, Timmy and family, I was so very sad when I got the call and learned Mr. Nathan had passed away. I have such fond memories of Mr. Nathan: he was a giver - and quite the gardner! He was always giving me veggies from his garden to take back on the plane to ATL! Mr. Nathan had a contagious smile, warm friendly spirit. He loved and was proud of each one of you! He loved our Lord, and was a kind Christian man ready to share his faith with everyone. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with each one of you at this difficult time. May God comfort and hold you in the palm of His hand.

Nan:

I am so sorry to hear about Nathan's death. I think about the years we all played together growing up, all the brothers and sisters. We always had such a good time. When we would meet in restaurants here in town, I was so glad to see and talk to you both. You and Nathan were such an inspiration to me. The life you both lived, I know that Nathan is now in a better place. Nan, I know that you will miss him as well as the rest of us that knew him. I know that God allowed you to share memories with one of the best. I look forward to seeing you both in Heaven one day. I am sorry that I was not able to make the viewing or the funeral but our thoughts and prayers are with you. Should you ever need us for anything, please do not hesitate to give us a call. Our number is 904-781-9177.

Nan and family,

It was such sad news to learn of Nathan's passing. He was such a wonderful person. His kindness touched so many people. I fondly remember the many times you welcomed me into your home. I always enjoyed talking with Nathan and he was such a gentleman. I could certainly relate to the stories about growing up in the "country". I echo what others have said; he was a kind, gentle, and honest individual and will be greatly missed. The attendance at the service is an indication of the many friends he leaves behind and their love for him. The pictures depicted his love of family and especially the children.

May God bless you and comfort you in the days ahead.
