Nathan Ray Bendy Carrico Nathan Ray Bendy Carrico, 47, of Orangefield, died Saturday, August 15, 2009, in Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City, with Reverend Charles Thurman officiating. Burial will follow at Sanders Cemetery in Jasper. Visitation will be 5-9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Bridge City. Nathan was born in Orange, Texas on January 3, 1962. He was the son of Bertis Ray Carrico and Pat (Smith) Bendy. Nathan was a Master Plumber and the owner of D and S Plumbing. Nathan was an avid hunter and fisherman and a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. Nathan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edgar and Evangeline Smith and Bertis and Eunice Carrico; and uncle, Ronnie Smith. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Kerry Carrico; parents, Bertis Ray and Pat Carrico and Pat and Roy Bendy; daughters, Destiny Carrico of Orangefield and Sherry Hamilton of Orangefield; son and daughter- in-law, David and Emily Hamilton of Hope, Arkansas; grandchildren, Kai, Kason and Kynslee Hamilton; sisters, Rhonda Droddy and her husband Rob, Becky Howe, Melinda Smith and her husband Frank, and Stacey Bendy; special aunts and uncles, Beverly and Tommy Burk, Jan and Butch Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with funeral expenses to Bridge City Bank, Nathan Carrico Memorial.

I only knew Nathan for a short period of time but we had a lot of laughs and many many wonderful times. I am blessed that I knew such a wonderful and caring person. He will truly be missed but he will never be forgotten.
