On Monday, April 28, 2014. Beloved husband of Lillian (Leah) Simpson, and the late Judith Levitan. Loving father and father-in-law of Robert Letovsky and Sheila Stober of Jericho, Vermont, and Constance Letovsky Hoffman. Nathan began his business career in the family butcher shop and transformed it into one of Canada's largest meat importers. In 1972, he sold the company to pursue his lifetime passion in art. He studied at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, then at the École des Beaux Arts. During his long career as an artist, he worked out of his studios in Old Montreal and Ste. Agathe to produce hundreds of paintings – primarily landscape scenes of the Laurentians and abstracts. Nathan held numerous shows over the years in and around Montreal and Ottawa. His works can be found in residences as well as offices and boardrooms across Quebec and Ontario.
