Nathan E. Wellman, 31, of 1332 Western Court, died Saturday, June 9, 2007 at his home. Nathan was born in Owensboro, graduated from Apollo High School, and attended Owensboro Community College. He loved the time he spent with his family, was a member of the United Methodist Church, and was a line cook at the Blind Parrott. He was preceded in death by his sister, Leslie Ann Wellman.

Surviving are his mother and step-father, Sally and Ric Boles of Knottsville, his father, Michael Wellman of Atlanta; his brothers, Nick Wellman and his wife Jennifer of Owensboro and James David Boles of Knottsville; his grandmothers, Annette S. Poulk and Delois H. Wellman, both of Owensboro; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services are at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home, where friends and family may call from 3:00 until 4:45 p.m. Interment will be private. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Owensboro, c/o Mrs. Frances Griffith, 3086 Steeplechase, Owensboro, KY 42303 or the Boulware Center, 731 Hall Street, Owensboro, KY 42303. Memorial contribution envelopes are available at the funeral home.
