To Neil's family and friends. I just heard this news and wanted to let you know how very very sorry I am for your loss. I had the pleasure and opportunity to volunteer with Neil on several occasions with Habitat for Humanity of Frederick Maryland.

I remember Neil's very first time he came out to volunteer out of the blue with us. He was shy but soon fit right in with the rest of the group. I spent several weekends working side by side with Neil and was very impressed at his dedication and compassion. Qualities you do not find very often in young people today.

I am truly saddened to hear of Neil's passing and want to offer my deepest sympathy. He was a very special person and will be sorely missed

We cannot go a day without thinking and praying for your family!! We love you and will not stop praying for strength and healing. Neil was a delightful young man! Much love!

June 2, 2013

Bruce and Jan,
We do not know each other but I got to know your son when he volunteered for us at Habitat for Humanity Frederick County. Neil was dedicated in helping others and he came to Habitat for Humanity volunteering to do just that. At the time Neil was with us I was Managing our ReStore. He would come to the ReStore everyday just to help where he could. I came to know and love Neil, a true gentleman, sometimes very quite, but always enjoyed a laugh and some fun.

When I learned of Neil's passing in the paper I could hardly believe what I was seeing. I was crushed, I was hoping our paths would cross again someday and I know they will in a much better place. I send you my sincere sympathy on the lost of your son, he was a wonderful young man. I am dedicating this weeks newsletter for Habitat Frederick to Neil, his service to our country and to us at Habitat for Humanity will never be forgotten.

Ron Cramer, Executive Director
Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County MD.

"All the love you created is still there. All the memories are still there. You live on in the hearts of everyone you have touched and nurtured while you were here. Death ends a life, not a relationship". You were a sweet, goofy kid, and a strong, gentle giant of a man. Rest in peace, Neil. Bruce & Jan, so sorry we won't be there Sunday.

- You & Jan have wonderful friends out there hoping to soften your blow.

Dear Bruce

We were saddened to hear about Neil and wanted to send our deepest condolences to you and your family. Neil sounds like a wonderful person; we wish we had known him. We find that the relationships we develop in the course of our work extend far beyond the technical nature of the subject matter and embrace a care and connection with the people as well. That is certainly true with you and your colleagues at AOPA. There are few words that can express what I am sure you must be feeling this week, but please know that we send our heartfelt prayers and support. Bruce and Carol

I knew Neil as a young kid. We lived across the street from eachother in Wichita and my brother coaxed him into more trouble than I could discourage. But Neil was such a good boy, he stood up to my brother when he knew something was wrong. I knew, even as a young girl, he had such a pure heart. I just found Matt on Facebook about a month ago and eagerly sought out connection with Neil through Matt. My heart hearts to learn of his passing, but God must have missed his angel and now he has returned.

I hope to know you again someday, Neil.
