Dear Anita and Nick's family: Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Nick was a prince among men. I knew him from his work at the Region of Ottawa- Carleton. He was a valued employee and I was proud to have him on my team. God be with you in your time of sorrow. Sincerely Carol Manning

My favorite memory of Uncle Nicky was when my dad would play the fiddle and he would ask me to step dance. Our family memories will always be with us. Now he is watching from the head table. Love you Uncle Nicky.

It is with deep sadness that I send my heartfelt condolences to Anita and family. Although I've only known Nick for such a short time, I was blessed to have had that time. His infectious smile and tenacity will always be remembered.

My favorite memory of my uncle Nick is one day my family and I went to visit uncle Nick and aunt Anita, I was around 5 years old and my English was not very good, so I said to my uncle Nick can I go into your cave instead of basement and he didn’t laugh at me and just say sure. I love you uncle Nick.
