I just found out the news about you Nick and my heart is shattered to pieces.
I was fortunate enough to meet Nick as his neighbor. I had started a new life alone with my two kids and Nick was such a source of comfort and support. He´d let me borrow random things or move something heavy when I couldn´t for the kids. He´d come sit on my porch with me to just talk or come over to eat dinner when I cooked so I want always alone. Id come home to my grass being cut. He´d do little things to make sure the kids and I were okay. He was always smiling. Warm. Kind. Funny. Someone you could trust with your world. He was a peaceful soul. Nick wherever you are now, I hope you have the peace and warmth you worked so hard to give. I will miss you always.

Nick was so kind to me when I needed it. He helped make me less anxious at the beginning of my journey to recovery. He was always good for a laugh. Rest easy, Nick, you touched a lot of people!

Nick meant alot to me. I was his grandmother caregiver for years. I met Nick while he was over to see his grandmother. He was quiet, calm n had a peaceful demeanor. I later found out he was in recovery and worked at Victory Recovery center. He helped me navigate getting my two brothers into treatment n was quick to do service by tell his story without hesitation. His story struck my heart because I had become complacent in my own recovery of 30 yrs. Nick was my go to person when I needed help. He never complained that I was a bother he always pointed me in the right direction. I will truly miss him dearly he curved a place in my heart fill with love, joy, service and so much more. I love u Nick with all my heart. I´m not going to say goodbye I´ll simple say see u later. My brother from another father (GOD) Angela C.
