Nina Carrasco Obituary
She united in marriage with Aron G. Carrasco Jr. on April 11, 1977, here in Odessa. She was a homemaker and also worked as a pastry cook among other dietary positions for ECISD.
Nina will be united with the love of her life, Aron; loving daughter, Debbie; mother and father; sisters, Velia, Socorro, Yolanda and brothers, Armando, Ruben and Sammy Urias, along with many other family members and friends who have passed on.
She is survived by her daughters: Elaine Carrasco of Stafford, TX, Annette Munoz and husband Alfred of San Antonio, and Jo Ann Carrasco of Odessa; her grandchildren: Abigayle Diane, Samantha Nicole, Dylon Aron, Roy Nicolas and Donovan Ryan; sisters: Glinda Bitolas and husband Manuel, Pilar "Sylvia" Villarreal and husband Gilbert and brothers: Lanny Urias and wife Mary, Jose Luis Urias, Rudy Urias; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 7:30 pm at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held on 11:00 am Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Acres West Funeral Home with Father Mark Woodruff officiating. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel and condolences to the family may be sent online at acreswestfuneral.com.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff from Deerings Nursing Home, Sienna Nursing Home and Compass Hospice for the care of their mother.
Mom, you will be greatly missed but it brings peace in our hearts to know that you are not suffering any longer and will indeed be with the love of your life, Dad.
