hi guys I'm Nolan's sister ,Leila, and there's so much I want to say about him. but i'll keep it short if you would like to see the whole story you can go on his facebook page at NolanStrong. He was a awesome little boy he was diagnoised on November 16 2015. he is so kind he touched the hearts of many. he was born on sept. 7.2012. Or as he would say sargent rollin' Nolan scully September 7 2012:). he went to Georgetown university in Washington D.C. his first doctor was dr.boushkosh. then she left she still visted Nolan he second doctor was dr.gonzals he loved them both very muchhe started chemo again. FASTFORWARDS!!!!!
Nolan started getting really bad tummy aches so we took Nolan to the hostpital and had two tumors pressing on his air ways my mom asked if she could take a shower he said yes when she got in the shower he started passing away to heaven so mommy didn't have to witness the whole thing when she came out she saw what was happening so she got dr.gonzals all the nurses came running in the room gave Nolan all the medicine he could have but unfortunately he did past. the end I love Nolan so much I'm not used to him not being here all the time thank you guys for reading this and thank you for all the support. my family loves you all.

I read Nolan's story through a Yahoo post. It really moved me and like many, I cried for quite some time.
It brought me to reflect and hopefully honor his memory with the following:
The things of this world
have never held worth,
as such were the hours
from the day of his birth.
For God had allotted
but a very short time...
grasping every moment,
with his heart close to thine.
Feeling every beat, every breath,
every tear...
assured that God's kingdom
drew ever near.
Pray without abandon
and mourn...as you must,
placing his life
in God's blessed trust.
For God knows the pain
you feel through and through.
Let your faith never wane,
see...his son died too.
God loves your son,
this you can be sure.
For Jesus poured out his blood
non other...so pure.
To gather him home,
as His very own.
And there you will meet him,
before Heaven's throne.
Never more will you part,
as you step through the gates.
No more broken heart...
for eternity waits.
God Bless and may The Holy Spirit give you peace and comfort until that glorious day.

I read about little Nolan online by chance and although extremely sad and heart wrenching I am blown away by little Nolan's heart and love for his mother, the excerpt that was shared was so beautiful and hit home for me. I know it's tough to see in midst of all the sadness and feelings but God will use Nolan's life for good and people will be enriched because of his attitude and outlook in his final moments. Thank you again for sharing Nolan's story and life with the world. God bless.

I grew up in Charles County and also lived in St. Mary's County and have been following you and your family. Little One, you sure have left a strong impression on everyone during your fight. I'm happy that you are no longer in pain, and I pray that your family can find some peace to deal with losing you. Your gentle soul touched my heart beyond words. RIP Little One!

To Nolan's family please know that I am lifting you all up in my prayers. I followed Nolan's story on FB, and he was such a wonderful, inspirational young boy. I was heartbroken to read that the cancer tumors had returned and that the doctors were unable to do anything for him. However, I was so happy to see his smiling face when the policeman brought him his own personalized uniform and his K-9 police dog to the hospital. It was so wonderful to see so many folks bring him some joy before his imminent departure. The kindness shown to this young fighter really touched my heart. RIP little Angel!
