Nora Bryant

Nora Bell Bryant, age 82, passed away on May 21, 2018. She married Sample Bryant on May 3, 1952 in DeQueen, AR, they shared 64 years together. Born in Wright City, OK, she was the daughter of Jim Axton and Pearl (Dodderer) Axton. Nora was a cook for many years at the Valliant Nutrition Center and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Valliant,OK. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, quilting, camping, deer camp, and playing 42. Nora, loved her dogs and cat, most importantly she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, both parents, and sister Ruby Bridges. Survivors include: Sons, Jacky Bryant and wife Pat, Billy Bryant and wife Kari, and Dewayne Bryant and wife Tamie all of Valliant, OK; Daughters, Sherri Quigley and husband Mike of Valliant, OK, Delaine Cockerham and husband Bruce of Durant, OK, and Shannon Bryant of Valliant, OK; One Brother, James Axton of Wright City, OK; Grandchildren, Rustin Bryant, Vanessa Echols, Rachelle Gee, Brandon Quigley, Kamie Dorries, Natalie Beck, Kevin Bryant, Ashley Clark, Ryan Bryant, Lindsey Phillips, Courtney Foster, Paige Hedrick, Brooke Hankins, Seth Cockerham, Tyler Cockerham, Mason Bryant and Zaedyn Cherry; twenty-nine great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
