JAMAICA PLAIN — Mrs. Anahid "Ann" (Tatian) Krikorian, 95 of Jamaica Plain and formerly of Haverhill, died Friday morning, April 2, 2010 at the Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Jamaica Plain.
She was born in Lawrence, Oct. 26, 1914 daughter of the late David and Anna (Boyajian) Tatian. Educated in the Haverhill school system, Mrs. Krikorian graduated from Haverhill High School.
For several years she was employed as a bookkeeper for various companies in the local shoe industry including the former Kristine Shoe, Salisbury, which was owned by her late husband.
Prior to living in Jamaica Plain she resided in Orange, Exeter, N.H. and Stoneham. Mrs. Krikorian enjoyed cooking and while in Haverhill was a member of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church.
She was the wife of the late George Krikorian who died in 2000 and her survivors include three sons, George Krikorian of Cambridge, Robert Krikorian and his partner Gordon Gottlieb of Jamaica Plain, Richard and his wife Linn Krikorian of Manchester, N.H.; two grandchildren, Neil and his wife Andrea Krikorian, Beth and her husband David Chase; two great-grandchildren, Vaughan and Cole Krikorian as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Krikorian was also the sister of the late John and Samuel Tatian.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. from the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. in St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church at Hye Pointe, 110 Main St., Haverhill. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Gregory Armenian Apostolic Church At Hye Pointe, 110 Main St., Haverhill, MA 01830; or the Armenian Nursing Home, 431 Pond St., Jamaica Plain, 02130.
