1929 - 2018

Josephine Dalla Santa, 88, of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Froedtert South-St. Catherine's Medical Center Campus.

Born in Kenosha on Aug. 4, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Bertelle) Furlin. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was educated in local schools.

On May 20, 1950, she married Albino Dalla Santa in Kenosha.

Josephine worked for a period of time in the office at American Motors Corporation and in the lunch room at McKinley Middle School, but most of all was a proud homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Alpine Club where she enjoyed playing Bocce.

Survivors include her husband, Albino Dalla Santa; three children, Jacqueline (Joseph) Gianeselli, Robert (Winifred) Dalla Santa, and Cassie (Mario) Diaz Bello; a brother, Frank Furlin; five grandchildren, Andrew (Kelly), Matthew and Michael Gianeselli, and Nicholas and Abigail Dalla Santa; and two great-grandchildren, Avery and Addison Gianeselli.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Furlin.

Josephine's family would like to thank the staff in the ICU at St. Catherine's Medical Center for all the kind and compassionate care they gave her.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 6, at First Baptist Church, 3700-47th Avenue, from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the First Baptist Church, would be appreciated by the family.
