PEABODY- La Sra. Olga G. Torrez de 85 años de edad, residente de la ciudad de Peapody, amada esposa del difunto Agustín Torrez, murió en Agosto 6, del 2016 en su casa, rodeada por familiares. Nació en la ciudad de Santiago, República Dominicana, fue la hija del difunto Elpídio y Francisca (Estrella) Varona. Ella creció y fue educada en la República Dominicana. Esposa, madre, abuela, bisabuela amorosa, fue una mujer dedicada a su familia, disfrutaba ser anfitriona de fiestas para su familia y amigos. Olga era una excelente cocinera. Mostraba su amor por medio a la cocina. Era común para sus nietos encontrar un manifico desayuno (mangú, huevos, queso frito, cebolla frita) al despertar tras pasar la noche en casa de la abuela. Ella se complacía ver a otros feliz. Una mujer de determinación, carácter fuerte, e independiente. Olga fue matriarcal para con su familia. Vivió su vida al máximo, amó estar viva. Fue un modelo para sus hijos, nietos, y bisnietos, la extrañaremos mucho. A Olga le sobrevive sus hijos, Argentina Varona de Peabody, Jose Varona de Brentwood, N.Y., Ramon Varona de Santo Domingo, D.R., José Flete de Reading, PA, Federico Flete de Salem y Julio Caesar Flete de Dominican Republic, su nietos, Fernando, Idania, Orquidia, Esther y Joel Pena Varona, Miosoty Varona, Alexandra Almanzar y Vilma Varona, Francys Varona, Jensy, Carfran and Franklin Flete, Daisy y Javier Flete, Julio, Darlene, Juliana y Yaritza Flete y muchos bisnietos, sus hermanos son, Rafael, Octovio, Luz, Victor, Marianela, Ramon Emilio, Hilda Mercedes, Aleida Albania, Flerida A. y Elba Varona y muchos sobrinos, sobrinas, y demas familias extendidas y amigos. Torrez PEABODY- Mrs. Olga G. Torrez, 85 of Peabody, beloved wife of the late Augustin Torrez, died August 6th, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Elpidio and Francisca (Estrella) Varona. She was raised and educated in the Dominican Republic. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Olga was devoted to her family. She was dedicated to her family and enjoyed hosting family and friends for parties. Olga was a great cook. She showed her love through her cooking. It was typical for her grandchildren who spent the night at her home to wake up to a magnificent breakfast. She took great pleasure in other people's happiness. A strong willed and independent woman, Olga was the matriarch of her family. She lived her life to the fullest and found great joy in life. She was a great role model for her children and grandchildren and will be deeply missed. Olga is survived by her children, Argentina Varona of Peabody, Jose Varona of Brentwood, N.Y., Ramon Varona of Santo Domingo, D.R., Jose Flete of Reading, PA, Federico Flete of Salem and Julio Caesar Flete of the Dominican Republic, her grandchildren, Fernando, Idania, Orquidia, Esther and Joel Pena Varona, Miosoty Varona, Alexandra Almanzar and Vilma Varona, Francys Varona, Jensy, Carfran and Franklin Flete, Daisy and Javier Flete, Julio, Darlene, Juliana and Yaritza Flete and many great grandchildren, her siblings, Rafael, Octovio, Luz, Victor, Marianela, Ramon Emilio, Hilda Mercedes, Aleida Albania, Flerida A. and Elba Varona and many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in The O'Donnell Funeral Home 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem, Thursday, August 11th from 6 to 8 P.M.
