Pamela Barnes Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 14, 2023.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela Gail Barnes, known as Pam to family and friends. She left this world on March 30, 2023, Memphis, Tennessee. Her spirit was as free as the wind, and her love for all things musical was as deep as the ocean. Pam was an original, a woman who lived life on her own terms.

Her journey began on March 22, 1972, when she was born to Harris and Erma Clark, in Memphis, Tennessee. Her spunky personality was evident from the start. She grew to be a woman of deep passions, always unapologetically true to herself.

She is survived by her loving parents, as well as her children. Two daughters, Shelley VanHooser, and Sasha Lauren Esparza, and her two sons, Andrew Miller, and Alex Gailor. One brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Rhonda Clark, one nephew, Ryan Clark, and one niece, Ashley Clark, and many dear friends.

We will celebrate her extraordinary life on April 17, 2023, with a visitation at the Ellendale Baptist Church in Ellendale, Tennessee, at 2:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 pm. A repass will be held at the VanHooser home from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in Pam's memory to the Ellendale Baptist Church or Redemption Church. Contributions can be made online at https://www.ebcbartlett.org/ or https://redemptionmem.churchcenter.com/home.

Pam was a rare gem in a world that often values conformity over individuality. She was a force to be reckoned with, and the world is a little dimmer without her light. But in the memories of those who loved her, she will always shine bright. Rest in peace, dear Pam, and know that you will never be forgotten.

Pam was my best friend and the best person I ever knew. She never said a bad word about anyone and always said God watches out for his children. He is holding her in his arms now. I am so sorry for your loss
