MAPLE PARK – Parker Wolfsmith, age 14, of Maple Park, passed away tragically on Saturday, May 31, 2014. Taken from his family and friends too soon, he now lives on the hearts and minds of his community. He will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his father Michael (Ellen Crosby) Wolfsmith; his mother, Amy Opfer; one sister, Summer Wolfsmith; half-siblings, Michael Wolfsmith and Briana Culberson; paternal grandparents, Stephen and Jean Walrack; maternal grandmother, Mary Kennedy, and several aunts, uncles and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Joseph F. Wolfsmith.
A memorial visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m., with a wake service to begin 7 p.m. Friday, June 6, at Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn. The Rev. Tim Seigel, pastor of St. Gall Catholic Church, Elburn, will officiate. Private family burial will follow cremation at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Parker's name. Checks may be made to the "Parker Wolfsmith Memorial" and mailed in care of P.O. Box 66, Elburn, 60119. Tributes may also be forwarded to the same address or on the web at www.conleycare.com.

Parker. I miss you man. It's not fair how you just got taken from us. You never failed to make me smile and laugh even when I was down in the dumps. You lit up my world so much but now you're gone. You're in a better place though. I hope you like it up there. We never really had a close relationship we were more of just acquaintances but now that you're gone it makes me wanna grab a time machine and get to know u and maybe hang out with u may 31, 2014. I miss you lots bro. I'll see you again soon dude. Rest in peace bud.

Parker. It was wonderful to be your aunt and uncle. We have so many happy memories of you from the time you were a baby at Kelly's volleyball games to your visits with Santa at our home at Christmas to recently as your matured into such a fine young man. You will always be remembered with fondness by our family Love Aunt Pat and Uncle Bill.
