Patrick Ende Obituary

Cortlandt Manor -

Patrick Theodore Ende was born March 8,1956 in Chicago IL, but he always insisted he was from Hastings, NY. He spent a wonderful childhood there, establishing lifelong friendships. After attending college at Texas A&M, he honed his skills in building and construction management before returning to NY where he founded Enco Construction in1985. He spent his career turning client dreams into realities. In his 35 years in business, he was lauded for his attention to detail and craftsmanship. His customers praised him for his professionalism, trustworthiness, transparency, empathy, and approachable personality.

He and his wife Barabara settled in their house in Cortlandt Manor and lovingly transformed it into their home. They brought an abandoned house back to life, giving it their unique style, through hard work, grit, and a common vision. They inspired each other throughout the restoration process and had fun doing it.

Pat thoroughly enjoyed sports. Golf was a favorite pastime, and he had a particular affinity for watching college football especially his beloved Aggies. He enjoyed tending his yard, spending time with friends, and caring for his many animals.

Pat is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, sisters, Mary Ende, Margaret Harmatuk, Mollie DeFrancesco, brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, daughter Emily, stepson, Rob, and grandchild, Audrey.

Pat's passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives he touched. He did so much for so many. His earnest and quiet impact on others was his magic.

We ask, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to SNARR NORTHEAST https://snarrnortheast.org/

A Celebration of Life is being planned at Pat and Barbara's home in the coming months.
