Mr. Ashworth was one of my grade 8 teachers at J H Putman school. I went on to graduate from University and can readily admit that this man had the most positive influence on me than of any educator that I ever met. I admired his kind and fun spirit, his love of world geography & Phys Ed, and even his near perfect penmanship. One year with Mr. Ashworth enriched my soul, forever. Thank you, may you rest in peace, and may your loved ones always be comforted by your memory.

My condolences to "Mr. Ashworth's" family. He was a lovely man and a very caring and sweet teacher to those of us who had the privilege of being one of his students. He used to tease me all the time inside and out of class and we always had a little repartee going on in school (Brookfield High). At the root of it, he was a kind man who seemed to care about his students. My heart breaks for his family and friends. He will be missed.

Sue, Val and Jen,
So sorry to hear about Paul's passing. There are so many wonderful memories that we share with your dad at our cottages at the lake. Whether we were waterskiing, canoeing, having huge bonfires or playing solitaire along side your gran!! Great memories
