Paul C. Caputo

Paul C. Caputo, age 76, of Kennett Square, PA died Thursday August 24, 2006 at the Christiana Hospital in Newark DE. He was the husband of Evelyn Sue Pierce with whom he shared 33 years. Born in Toughkenamon, PA he was a son of the late Louis and Grace Vecchione Caputo. Paul was a 1947 graduate of Kennett High school where he excelled in mathematics , was class vice president and also played Baseball. Upon graduation he served in the Army during the Korean War. For many years he was the manager of the Kennett Caf� in Kennett. He enjoyed reading, watching horse racing, all sports and especially his loving family. Survivors include: One Son: Gregary Caputo of Missoula Montana, Two Daughters: Grace Caputo of Lansdowne PA and Tracy Watts and her husband Kevin of Bear DE. Two Sisters: Grace Camoirano and Mary Zoli both of Hockessin DE Two grandsons: Andrew Pierce and Ryan Watts He was predeceased by 8 brothers; John, Anthony, Robert, Dominic, Louis, Virgil, William, and Vincent and one sister; Rose Salvato. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on Monday August 28, 2006 at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 W. State St., Kennett Square. His Service of Remembrance will be held at 8PM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
