Grady & Family,
Sorry to hear of your dad's passing. We had a lot of good Thursday nights when he would open the shop up at LHS to get us kids off the street and doing something useful. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers here in Raleigh, NC.

As a former Helvey (granddaughter of Henry Grayson and Martha Miller Helvey) my thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. I have heard my own father, Wade, talk about uncle Watson. I believe that "Wat" and Grayson were brothers. I live in Greenville, SC, but have much of the geneaology.

My deepest sympathy.

I'm so sorry to read of Paul's passing.
Know he will be missed. He was my mother's first cousin. She was Ruby Morehead Tickle, Daugher of James Ward Morehead and Bessie Mae Helvey. God bless each of you,

Gim, Grady, and family,
We are so disappointed that we cannot be with you at this sad moment. Uncle Paul was so special to Joan because he and she shared the same birthday... and he was so gentle, kind and fun loving.
We wish that we could attend the services and visit with the family. We will plan to visit you after we return from our tour of the Holy Land.
Lots of Love,
Jim & Joan

Our sympathies go out to you on the event of your loss. Mr. Helvey was a teacher who had a great impact in my life. His temperament was uniquely suited to working with young folks and I remember his classes and the lessons imparted with pleasure.
