Paul MOONEY Obituary
Father Paul F. Mooney, age 90, born into eternal life on Monday, August 7, 2017. Loving uncle of a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Helen (Moran) Mooney, brothers Joseph Mooney (Bernadette), Rev. John Mooney, Rev. Donald Mooney (C.S.B.) and Rev. Thomas Mooney and his sister Anna Hoy (Bernard). Father Paul served in the parishes of Sacred Heart in Windsor, Our Lady of Mercy in Sarnia, the Diocese of Chiclayo in Peru (1961-1967), the parishes of St. Ursula in Chatham, also in Bothwell, Glencoe, Zurich, Kinkora, Lucan, Comber, St. John Vianney in Windsor, St. Columban, Clinton and Dublin. Visitation will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 3931 Perth Rd 180, Dublin on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 11, visitation from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Ronald P. Fabbro - celebrant. A reception will follow in the church hall. Interment in St. Mary's Parish Cemetery, Maidstone on Saturday, August 12 at 12:00 noon. Memorial donations to St. Peter's Seminary, London or St. John The Evangelist Priest Pension Fund would be appreciated and may be made at

To the Mooney family : I want to send my deepest sympathies to you all. I always enjoyed talking to Fr Paul during our visits. He was a wonderful man. He is happy now again, as he had probably had preached about throughout his life. Lois MacEachern
