Paul Olivieri was a really kind person with a great sense of humor. He was my best friend for many years growing up when my family moved to Newark Valley. Paul kind of took me in and let me help out at their restaurant. Having moved from the city I didnt know how to hunt, fish or ride a dirt bike and therefore didnt fit in very well. Paul and his family gave me a place to be and I appreciated that. Working with Paul and the rest of his family was really fun and taught me skills I used later in life. He was almost always smiling and laughing and cracking jokes. Paul also had an outstanding work ethic and talented chef.

Paul loved Van Halen and other metal bands with great guitarists. I think of him every time I hear certain songs. I really regret losing contact with him over the years. Rest In Peace my friend.

Food, Music and playing guitar is how I'll remember you. You and Ed took me to my first concert, Iron Maiden/Judas Priest. I remember you invited me to your house after you moved back to NY and we sat in your living room jamming on your ESP guitar. Rest easy brother.
