As I was looking through all my old photographs of my college years I had to smile. So many of them were of Paul and our gang. So many great times, so many memories. Paul had an incredible impact on my life during 3 of the most memorable years. He truly was one of a kind, full of laughter, always a guaranteed good time, and had a knack for keeping in touch. To his family, thank you for bringing him to this world, he touched many of our hearts and gave us lots of laughter.
I will miss him.

Paul was a true friend. He was the type of person that could bring people of all background together. Words can't describe the sadness I feel knowing that I will never see him again. Paul will be truly missed.

To the Stephens Family--
I am so very sorry for your loss. I am a college friend of Paul's, and I have many special memories of our times together. He was always so very caring to me, and he usually reminded me (with humor!) not to take myself too seriously! I miss him dearly, and I am keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Paul is one of the greatest reasons my college experience was so enjoyable. For three years he made me laugh more than anyone could. I will cherish the memories and photographs which remind me of his vivacious spirit. To his family: my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Stephens Family,
I am Paul's college roomate and had the privilege of living with him for over two years. I have nothing but fond memories of Paul and the times we shared. He touched many lives at SMU and was well respected and liked by everyone. His charm, sense of humor, and fun-loving personality will certainly be missed. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
