Paul Warwick Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 22, 2018.
He sings because he is happy. He sings because he is free. Paul Wyman Warwick has his eyes on the Sparrow and entered his Heavenly home unexpectedly on January 20, 2018. Paul, 48, Peru, was born March 25, 1969 to Evelyn (Webber) and Paul Warwick, Jr of Bunker Hill, Indiana.

He served as a Director of Vacation Bible School and Youth Pastor at Miami Wesleyan Church for many years and worked for Marsh Grocery Store for 29 years. Paul discovered his true life's calling when he left Marsh and started working for Woodbridge Health Campus of Logansport, and then for Primrose Retirement Community of Kokomo as their Life Enrichment Coordinator, where he will be sorely missed.
Paul is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Nicole (Wimmer) Warwick and his daughter Abie, whom he cherished and adored. Also surviving are his brother Dale and his wife Brenda and daughter Heather of TN., niece Emily (Allen) Sherrill and husband Cody of Peru, father and mother in laws Don and Sue Rossman of Kokomo, brother in law Brian Allen of Flora, sister in law Belinda (Wimmer) and husband Brent Sturart, niece Isla and nephew Felix of Nelson, New Zealand and nephew Nicholas Allen and sons Braden and Brantly of Walton.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Sue E. (Warwick) Allen, and niece Anita Kay Warwick.

I had the privilege and honor of growing up friends with Paul, we went through school together and were also in choir and counter points together, he was always the Life of the shows . Things that I remember was his kindness and smiles. Never ever heard a harsh thing come out of his mouth. He was loving and kind to everyone around. Our last seeing each other was a Jack Rabbits baseball game where we seen each other for about 50 yards away and when we got closer it was like we hadn't seen each other in 40 years and yet In was only a couple months. We were good ole buddies and took off right where we left off each time we seen each other. Paul you were a kind and precious soul, wish the world was filled with more men like you, God Bless brother till we meet again.

Paul and I were good friends in high school and swing choir partners most of that time. We'd also go sing at churches together, did skits in the school showcase or just hang out. We had so much fun and he is one of the reasons I look back so fondly on high school. Although we didn't keep in touch after I went off to college, we reconnected on FaceBook several years back and I never stopped thinking of him as "my friend" even when we weren't in contact. I will miss my friend for his life and light that he brought to all who knew him. He was a great person and THAT is the best thing someone can be; unless you can be a great angel... Do you think heaven allows angels to wear clown noses?

My thoughts are with all who knew and loved him.

God called home a special angel when He reached down for Paul. Paul had the biggest heart he would do anything for anyone. It was such a pleasure to work with him @ Woodbridge. I will be forever grateful for his friendship & love. He was there when I needed a shoulder to cry on & a friend to talk to. He would take time out of his busy day to come sit with me when George was passing. And his big bear hugs, & I love you kid, would always make me feel better. Hugs to you Paul & I love you!

Oh my....my heart is aching. I was honored to have Paul in my 7th grade Math class at Maconaquah and then, attended his wedding (surprising him and his family since I had left the area to Richmond). I remember the clowns and thinking how that was so Paul! May you find peace and be free with our Lord...and I am sure my parents will be looking for you. My thoughts, prayers, and love to all of the Warwick family!
