Pauline Ukena Maas, born April 16, 1944 in Alton, Illinois, died July 14, 2022 in Houston, Texas. Pauline Maas was 78; she passed away at a Methodist hospital on July 14, 2022, in Houston, Texas.
Her parents were Virgil and Sarah (Stassi, Princivalli) Ukena. S
he was married for 59 years and 11 months to Ronald Maas of Lasalle, Illinois. They wed on September 9, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois. They had one son, Joseph (Minda) Maas of Houston, Texas; two granddaughters, Ashton and Alexandra of Houston, Texas; two great-granddaughters; three sisters, Patricia (Roger) Yanish of LaSalle, Illinois, Shirley Ukena of Ventura, and California, Mary (Ukena) (Tim) Mullins of Camarillo, California; her stepmother, Nancy Ukena of Spring Valley, Illinois; and many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Pauline was a registered nurse for 45 years, 25 years at the late Dr Farley's office in Peru Illinois. She loved to take care of her family, relatives and friends and her cats.
Her funeral Mass was at 11:00 am August 23, 2022 at St Paul's Catholic church in Houston, Texas, with burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Houston Texas.
Her family and friends will miss her sadly! Yet, we trust God has already wiped away all Pauline's tears from her eyes and there shall be no more death, nor shall there be any more pain for Pauline; " for the former things have passed away," Rev 21:4. Love you Pauline, miss you much! Love, your family!
