Our beloved Pedro Jose Santiago Quiles, 86, of Daytona Beach, FL, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on March 8, 2024.
Pedro was born on December 22, 1937 in Camuy, Puerto Rico, forth child of nine to the late Otilia (Quiles) and Julio Santiago.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Edith Santiago, his children Linda Santiago, Sandra Santiago, Evelyn Velazquez, Margarita Colón, Steven Santiago, and Judith Santiago. Pedro is also survived by his grandchildren Yamaris Guzmán, Leonel Hernandez, José Colòn, Daniel Colòn, Keith Colòn, Pete Santiago, Christopher Gonzalez, Raul Gonzalez, and Lola Gonzalez, as well as his great-grandchildren Jayden Leonel, Aamia, Antonia, Trenton, Nathaniel, Matthias, Anais, Jayden Antonio, Adrian, Paisley, and Brynlee.

He was preceded in death by his father Julio Santiago, mother Otilia Santiago, brothers Agosto Santiago, Julio Santiago, Felipe Santiago, Kiro Santiago, and his son Pedro José Santiago Jr.

Pedro worked for the CTA for over 20 years. He was an avid fisherman, boater, and loved boxing, cars and motorcycles. But more than anything else, he loved his family. His wife, children, grandchildren, siblings and countless nephews nieces and his goddaughter.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Venue 4343 from 3pm-6pm, located at 4343 W Diversey, Chicago, IL 60639.

Rest in peace, Pedro Jose Santiago Quiles. You will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved you.
