To the Orlando Family,
I worked with Peggy for many years in Foreign Military Sales and lost touch with her a few years ago. Yet I will never forget what a beautiful, sweet, free spirit she was and I will always admire the strength and courage she had to fight this horrendous disease for many years! I know she left an everlasting imprint on many lives. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel! God bless you all - a very great loss!

As we go through life, we only run into a few special people that stand out above the rest - Peggy was one of those people. I don't know why but I thought that she would keep beating it...I'm glad that she doesn't have to fight cancer anymore or worry about fighting it. To the Orlando family - you are in our thoughts and prayers. I feel like I know you all so well. She talked about you often!

Our love and prayers go out to Peggy's family. She was such a bright spirit and was so kind. There were many aspects to her life: CECOM employee, realtor, & spokesperson for American Cancer Society. It was obvious that her most cherished role was that of daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She helped so many people through the years in so many ways. We will miss her and will always remember her smile and her friendship. With Love,

To the Orlando family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I had the good fortune of meeting Peg when I arrived at CECOM in 1994 as an intern. I was immediately struck by her amazing atttitude, her energy, and of course her great smile and wonderful laugh. She was so helpful to me and eventually found the condo that I still live in (when numerous other realtors failed!) Peg really took an interest in my life and activities and was a great friend. She was always wondering what my next adventure was! She was one of the strongest and most positive people I've ever met. Her zest for her family and her life were truly inspiring. God bless you Peg!! Peace.

I was saddened when I saw Peggy's picture in of all places the obituaries. She was always a soft spoken woman who fought such a hard battle with dignity and grace. Peggy was the reason I became involved with the American Cancer Society, it was her story that brought a tear to my eye and gave me the impetuous to work hard to get donation to fight this disease. She was a strong woman and I will miss her. Rest well Peggy.
