Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Petra Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sauk Rapids for Penny M Lupinek, 72 who died Monday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Rev. Bryan Prell will officiate. Friends and family may call from 4:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in St. Cloud and also after 9:00 AM on Thursday at the church. Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls.
Penny was born to Harry and Delores (Hanson) Larson on September 11, 1943 in Watertown, South Dakota. She married Lowell Lupinek in South Shore, South Dakota on June 27, 1965. She has been a resident of the St. Cloud area for over 45 years and was a daycare provider for over 30 years. Penny was a member of Petra Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed holiday gatherings with her family, camping, fishing, baking, she was especially known for her homemade buns. She also loved to visit the casino.
Penny is survived by her husband of 50 years, Lowell; her mother, Delores Larson of Sauk Rapids; sons, Jason (Amy) of St. Cloud, Jeremy (Kara) of Oconomowoc, WI; grandchildren, Andy, Spencer and Lauren; sister, Cindy (Steve) Besedich of Warren, MI and cousins, Mary and Marty and their families.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The family would like to thank the staff at Assumption Home for the wonderful care the past three years.
