Peter was my homeroom classmate, study partner and confidant. I will always remember his smile, love of life and perspective on things. I guess you could say the breadth of his thoughts, humour, intellect and interests surprised me. I was just a teenager, but I can remember sharing moments with Peter 30 years ago as if it was last week. Somehow I see him as always happy. So long, old friend.
