Peter Leo Kramer, known affectionately as Pete, aged 80, of San Diego, California, passed from this life on January 26, 2024. Born on May 21, 1943, in San Diego, he was a man of exceptional intelligence, marked by a spirit of curiosity and a gentle, kind, and loving heart.

He leaves behind his cherished wife, Wendy Kramer, and his devoted daughters, Susan Kramer Swafford and Anne Blemker. Peter's legacy of love continues through his grandchildren: Katelyn Ermeri, Corynne Swafford, Callan Swafford, Camryn Swafford, Kristen Swafford, Nicholas Swafford, Riley Blemker, John Swafford, Jamie Blemker, Dylan Swafford, and Kensie Swafford. He now joins his late parents, Lyle John Kramer and Helmie Maria Kramer, in eternal rest.

Peter's patriotic service to his country was exemplified through his 20 years in the Air Force, from 1965 to 1985, where he honorably served as an Intelligence Officer. His dedication to his nation was unwavering.

His academic pursuits were fulfilled with a Bachelor's degree from George Washington University and a Master's degree from the University of North Carolina, reflecting his lifelong commitment to learning and excellence.

Peter's creative talents were most evident in his meticulous building and painting of 54 mm Military Miniatures, a hobby through which he found great joy and satisfaction. His handcrafted pieces were sought after by hobby shops and collectors alike.

The Kramer family invites friends and relatives to join in commemorating Peter's life at El Camino Mortuary, San Diego, on Monday, February 5, 2024, at 11 AM. The Mortuary, situated in the serene El Camino Memorial Park, is overseeing the funeral proceedings.

In memory of a life so beautifully lived and a heart so deeply loved, Peter Leo Kramer's presence will be profoundly missed and eternally treasured by those who knew him.
