Peter Thorpe Obituary
Peter, a 4th generation Los Angeles native, was born in 1962 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Los Angeles to John and Marie Breslin Thorpe.
Peter lived his entire life in Los Angeles,but enjoyed exploring other parts of the country with family and friends, often to attend concerts by the many musical performers he followed throughout his life, especially The Grateful Dead. He loved gathering with his wide circle of friends to discuss music, baseball and life. We greatly miss his quick wit, wry humor and rare ability to quickly make friends with anyone he encountered.
Peter is survived by his siblings Gregory (Christine) Thorpe and Kathleen Thorpe, nieces Lauren Thorpe Schnier and Emily Thorpe Coogan and many cousins and grandnephews. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Marie Thorpe and brother Daniel.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated for Peter on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Culver City, California.

Peter I'm gonna miss you soo much brother I'm gonna miss our Friday play dates we had kicking back watching YouTube videos about all the bands you like.
I'm gonna miss going on road trips with you and going to concerts
Their so much more that can be said about Peter and how he truly valued and cherished friendship with his close friends
I couldn't ask for a better best friend you can have in your life and by your side
I love you like a father Peter may we meet again in heaven
