Philip Arsenault Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jun. 1 to Jun. 4, 2016.
Philip H. Arsenault

Palm Bay

Philip H. Arsenault, 75, of Palm Bay, went to join his family in Heaven on May 28, 2016 after a brief illness. He was born in Rhode Island on January 29, 1941 and graduated from Newton (Massachusetts) High School. Philip served his country in the United States Air Force and his career was with Southern Bell. He moved to Florida in 1971 with his wife, Mary, who preceded him in death in 2014 after 45 years of marriage. He was also preceded in death by a son, PJ. Philip spent his non-working hours volunteering at the Palm Bay Senior Center, fishing, and spending time on the water with his family. He is survived by his fiancee, Judy Seager; son Michael Arsenault; siblings Elaine Pelletier (Ronald), Susan Chauvin (Sherry), Robert Arsenault, and Timothy Arsenault; beloved grandchildren Amy and Michael; cherished great grandchildren Aubrey and Ella; sister-in-law Joan Neeves; and several nieces and nephews.

Philip was a friend to everyone and always available to help his family and neighbors with anything that needed fixing.  He was ever-smiling and found joy wherever he went.  Philip touched the hearts of many and the world is a very different place than it was before.  Philip will be missed by more people than he could ever be aware of. Memorial donations may be made to cancer care at the VA Clinic, 2900 Veterans Way, Melbourne, FL 32940.

The family will gather with friends at Fountainhead Funeral Home on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at 2pm with a memorial service to follow at 3pm.

Uncle Phil,
You've touched our lives in so many bright and happy ways.
Your wisdom and optimism was unmeasurable.
The memories that are shared are always bright,
From cutting Ron Jr's hair as a little boy to the laughter of the stories driving to Townsend from Florida, with Ron Sr, our Grampie most summer's,
to the closeness of love with your sister Elaine, our Grammie.
Your passing has left a void in so many hearts.
When our shoulders feel heavy, we won't worry, we'll know that's just you, resting your wings!
May you rest in eternal peace.
I know you were welcomed with opened arms by your sweet P.J, and Aunt Mary.
you will be so missed.
All our love, and prayers,
Ron Jr, & Chris
~*~ xoxo ~*~
