Dear Betty and Family,

I have many fond memories of Phil from our time at Wilmington Island Presbyterian Church. Phil never failed to extend a friendly greeting. He made every newcomer feel welcome and valued. Phil was a kind and gentle man and I enjoyed working with him on committees and as a Session member. I admired his knowledge of the governance of the church and his quiet demeanor yet firm resolve.

I pray that our Lord comfort you and give you strength as you grieve the loss of your husband and father. He will be missed by all who knew him.

With deepest sympathy,

Linda Snell
