Benjamin wasn’t just a friend—he was my favorite person. The one I called when everything fell apart. The one who saw through every mask I wore and loved me all the more for it.
He had a laugh that cracked open your soul and a way of making strangers feel like they belonged. I don’t know how he carried so much light inside him, but he gave it away like it was endless.
Even now, when I hear a certain song or see that kind of wild, goofy grin in someone else, I remember: love like his doesn’t vanish. It transforms. It threads through the people left behind.
And I carry that thread every day.

Benj, you filled up our lives with sunshine. Everyone you touched has a memory of you in their heart, that caring spirit, that tight hug and heart warming smile. We will look for you in the "new world" where sickness and dying will be no more. And we will make a big meal of all the things you loved to eat. Love Always, Tia Ninfa a.k.a. Crazy Tia

Ben and I got through high school together! He was always there, hualing me around the city. We were all over the place but i would never replace any of our shenanigans! When we graduated we chose different paths. I served in the military and he moved to Boerne. I was able to visit him and his family a few time. Everyone always treated me well.
I will forever have Ben in my heart and mind.
