Randall Russell Obituary
A proud graduate of Auburn University, Randy pursued a career as a computer software engineer. His work reflected his analytical mind and commitment to innovation during a time of rapid technological advancement. Throughout his professional life, he remained passionate about solving complex problems and contributing meaningfully to the field.
Randy found joy in the simple pleasures of life-especially those that brought him closer to nature. An avid fisherman and outdoor enthusiast, he cherished time spent under open skies and beside quiet waters. Whether casting a line or simply enjoying the fresh air, Randy felt most at peace surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.
He was a man of faith who attended Eastgate Church, where he found spiritual grounding and community.
Randy is lovingly remembered by his wife, Rosalva Russell; stepdaughters Savannah Emard and Jessica Hicks; grandchildren Isaiah Hicks, Rianna Hicks, and Noah Hicks; and sisters Sarah (Van) Sievers and Peggy Russell. He was preceded in death by his father Floyd Russell, mother Betty Jo Russell, and sister Karen Morris.
May Randall's memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire moments of reflection beneath open skies. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 6, 2025, from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM at Eastgate church 2820 Brookwood Road
