JOHAL Ranjit (Jeet) Singh August 19, 1931 - November 6, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Dad, "Nannu" and"Bubbie". He passed peacefully at home with his family by his side. He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Gurmej Kaur, daughter Kashmir (Ajmer) Ghag, son Jindy (Sharan), son Balraj, and daughter Ronni (Harpreet) Sangha. He adored his children and grandchildren, Rumneek, Devon, Jay, Mark, Parmbeer, Harbir, Eric, and Ian, as well as his many grandnieces and grandnephews. Dad was born in the village of Jandiala, District Jullunder, Punjab, India. He arrived in Vancouver in November 1952, and began his life of raising and supporting all the family. Dad's favorite pastime was sharing his history and stories with everyone. He loved company. We will miss his smile, laughter and conversations very much. Be at peace with God now Dad and always know that you are much loved here on earth. The family would like to extend its gratitude to Dr. Richard Hay and the homecare staff who helped care for Dad. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2009 at 11 am, at Riverside, 5 Rivers Funeral Home, 7410 Hopcott Road, Ladner. BC.
