I remember grandma and grandpa came down to my house when my parents were still together. And we went down to the park and played and came home and every time they came over they would have presents for me and my sister

One of my favorite memories with him is taking my little cousins (His grandchildren) on car rides and just showing up at their house. Wouldn't matter what time of the day or night( mostly early morning between 2am- 5am) it was he always let us in and made us food. Listening to the frogs off their back porch as we stayed for several hours before having to take the mini road trip back for me to make it to work before doing it all over again just later in the week. It was one of my best years with my cousins and i'm glad that I got to know this man and how happy he always was to see my cousins (his grandchildren) whenever they knocked on his door.

There are so many good memories with my grandpa Ray . I loved that he wanted to capture every moment and memory. I loved when he would chase us around with the camera and let us watch the family home videos that he made. I loved waking up to the smell of his amazing waffles whenever we would visit. He always made sure everyone was well fed and taken care of. Some of my greatest childhood memories were in St. George with him and grandma. I´m so thankful that I got to stay there for a few weeks and let my children experience the love and happiness he spreads. Naming my youngest daughter after him was definitely the best decision. Grandpa Ray was her best friend, she adored him and had to do everything with him. While our long stay there she would wake up every morning and share a banana with him, he would split it in half and they would sit together and have their little conversations. Every time we would visit she was hanging on his leg the whole time repeating "papa what are we doing now" he thought is was the funniest that she was so interested in checking the mail, paying bills, and doing his everyday chores . My little Azalia Ray eats a half of a banana almost every day and saves the other half for her papa. We will definitely remember you forever Grandpa Ray you are so loved and missed, fly high.
