Raymond Brown Obituary

Dr. Raymond L. Brown, D.C., passed peacefully with family at his side in Georgetown, Texas, on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018.

He was born June 7, 1927, in Pine Island Township. On Aug. 1, 1948, he married his childhood sweetheart, Eleanor R. "Sally" Stiller in Pine Island.

In 1950, he received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Northwestern College of Chiropractic. He established his practice of 43 years on Second Street Southwest in Rochester, with his wife serving as office manager. He was active professionally in state and district associations. He and his wife were longtime members of Zumbro Lutheran Church. In 2013, he and his wife moved to Georgetown, Texas to be close to their children.

Survivors include son, Paul Brown (Kathleen) of Pflugerville, Texas; daughter, Mary White, D.C. of Georgetown, Texas; eight grandsons; one adopted granddaughter; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister, Arlene Stiller (Wesley) of Longmont, Colo. He was preceded in death by his wife in 2016; and his only brother, Elmer.

Funeral to be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at Beck Funeral Home in Cedar Park, Texas. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service. More information may be found at www.BeckChapels.com.

Dr. Brown was my chiropractor for many years. I missed him dearly when he and Sally retired. May he rest in peace.
