Rebecca Marie Lorusso

Rebecca Marie Lorusso died on Sunday, May 20, 2018. She was the beloved daughter of Emma Ramsay Lorusso and the late Rucky Lorusso. Rebecca attended St. Matthew the Apostle School in River Ridge, Riverdale High School and then Southeastern in Hammond for college. She then earned her masters degree in Music from Loyola University. Rebecca played the piano and organ and sang in the choir at St. Pauls's United Methodist Church from the age of 12 until she was in college. She loved all sports and as a teenager played on the softball and basketball teams at Little Farms Playground. She particularly enjoyed watching all the Saints football games. Growing up she spent many happy times in Vancleave, MS, with her grandparents, Louise and Harry Ramsay. She will be re-united in Heaven with her father, Rucky Lorusso and her brother, Stephen. Rebecca leaves to cherish her memory a sister, Peggy (Margaret) Burch and her family, and aunts, Marjorie Burroughs and Bonnie Lingel and their children. Visitation will be on Friday, May 25, from 11 am until 12 Noon, with a 12 Noon chapel service, all at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
