I will always remember my uncle Rene as a fun, loving and caring person. He was a big influence to me as a kid.He taught me to have fun and always to keep that inner child alive in me through life.I look forward to seeing him again in heaven and just having fun without the cares of this troubled world we live in.We must all do our best to love each other as Jesus commands us to do. And to forgive one another for all our faults. If we can all do this for each other as family and friends, then life here will be much more fulfilling. Our condolences and prayers of healing hearts to you all.We love our family,no matter were we are in life.

Dear Rene, the death of a parent is a very sorrowful thing. I wish I had the words that would ease your pain, but only god in time can do that.
Thank the lord for the blessing you have with a supportive wife and family to help you get through this.
Rene, long ago when your mom and dad were first married, they lived with us for a short time in Pico Rivera. There was much love between your parents, and your dad was always happy, laughing and joking around.
That will always be our memory of him, a happy young man with his whole life and future ahead of him. Love to you and your family.
Love your Uncle Felipe and Aunt Marie

Rene for the most part was a good provider and raised his children to the best of his ability. We can see this in the lives of Rene & April and their accomplishments he will truly be missed

I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Uncle Rene taking me and Sal (before and after you were born) to Legg Lake to go fishing or watch the remote control planes. He really was a great guy to us! Taking us in the VW all over town. I am glad for the memories and will pray for him and your family. Miss you Cuz

Lil Rene
Your dad was a real character. He always had everyone laughing with all of his jokes and stories. When I stayed with your mom and dad when Grandma Grace was in Mexico he was nothing but extra nice to me and to Joe too. Even though I had not seen him for many years I did think about him and the fun times we had and wondered how he was, because to me he was always my Uncle Rene.
With love your cousin Cookie and Joe

I remember the sweet, funny boy walking with your Mom . They met at Garfield High School and graduated in 1965. They were such a cute couple. He really did love your Mother very much.
He always was polite and respectful to my parents. My father especially cared for him. He was a good Catholic boy, When your
Dad married my big sister, Lupe, my father was very happy knowing that she would be safe.
God only gives you one Dad, Cherish the good memories of your childhood. These are the gems, the ones you should refer to when you think of your father. The Rene I choose to remember was funny, caring, and sweet. Rene, you have received the best of your father's traits. They are his legacy.
Condolences and prayers to you, Rene, Vicky, Jordan, Monique, April, Fernando, Xavier and my big sister Lupe.
Love to you all.

I remember the love and patience your father had for my father when he was dying of cancer. He spent many hours at his bedside and I am very thankful. He was always kind and loving with my mom and with me. I will pray for him always.

It's always tough to lose a parent at any age but you have to remember your father the way he was to you.
Our boys loved "Uncle Rene" as we did. We have many fond memories of our time together. We will always remember his trains, cycles, and all his hobbies. You can never replace a father but you can always keep him in your heart. Love you!
Your Uncle Cano and Nina Gloria.

Tough times for sure my brother from another mother...You will get thru this and you will always have that void but try to remember all the good times and you will see him again. I wish I could tell you something to make you feel better, but there is nothing I can say to ease the sadness other than you are not alone; you are surrounded by many friends and family that love you...
