1931 - 2015
Renee Lambert Duffin passed away peacefully on October 24, 2015. Renee was born May 11, 1931, to Edward and Louise Johnson Lambert. Married Don Duffin in Magna, Utah, on July 27, 1956; later solemnized in the Manti Temple.
She was a beautician for many years. Many of her clients became life-long friends. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she had a firm testimony of Jesus Christ. Hobbies included music, scrapbooking, ceramics, square dancing, and camping.
She was preceded in death by husband Don; daughter Tanya; parents Edward and Louise Lambert; and sister Barbara. She is survived by son Gerald (Chauna), three grandchildren, six great-grandsons; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express gratitude to the staffs of Legacy Cottage and Absolute Compassion Hospice for their excellent care.
Funeral services will at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2015, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road in Taylorsville. Viewing will be Thursday evening, October 29, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., both at the funeral home.

So sad to hear of Renee's passing, my son passed away the 29th, so somehow missed this. Both Renee and Don were friends that square danced with my mother-in-law Marie, and for years we participated in their Games Night activites, we loved Renee and Don! God Bless!

I just heard about the passing of your dear sweet Mom. I have, in the past, had the pleasure of running into her at the store and we would catch up about you and your family, She always let me know how Ed and his family were doing as well. She was a beautiful person with a glowing light that shined brightly as she welcomed me no matter how much time had passed. I have missed your mom and dad very much and I know your Mom will always be checking on you from above. I wanted you to know how much I loved and appreciated her for her love and beautiful spirit .
